Managing Units

Units represent individual properties within a project - apartments, villas, offices, or any sellable/rentable unit.

What is a Unit?

A unit is a specific property within a project:

  • Apartment 501 in Marina Towers
  • Villa A-12 in Palm Gardens
  • Office Suite 301 in Business Center

Units have their own details, pricing, and availability status.

Accessing Units

From Project

  1. Go to Projects
  2. Open a project
  3. Click the Units tab

Direct Access

Some plans include a dedicated Units page in the sidebar.

Unit List

The units list shows:

Filtering Units

Filter by:

  • Status (Available, Reserved, Sold)
  • Bedrooms
  • Price range
  • Floor
  • Features

Sorting

Sort by:

  • Unit number
  • Price (low to high / high to low)
  • Size
  • Date added

Creating Units

Step 1: Navigate to Units

  1. Open the project
  2. Go to Units tab
  3. Click Add Unit

Step 2: Basic Information

Step 6: Media

Step 7: Save

Click Save to create the unit.

Unit Statuses

Status Types

Changing Status

  1. Open the unit
  2. Click the status dropdown or Edit
  3. Select new status
  4. Save changes

Status changes are reflected immediately in AI responses.

Unit Details Page

Overview

Shows all unit information at a glance:

  • Key specs (beds, baths, size)
  • Price and status
  • Feature highlights

Price History

Track price changes over time:

  • Original listing price
  • Price adjustments with dates
  • Current price

Reservations

If the unit has been reserved:

  • Reservation date
  • Customer contact
  • Payment status
  • Reservation details

Documents

Unit-specific documents:

  • Individual floor plan
  • Unit brochure
  • Legal documents

Bulk Operations

Import Units

Import multiple units from a spreadsheet:

  1. Click Import in the Units tab
  2. Download the template CSV
  3. Fill in unit details
  4. Upload the completed file
  5. Review and confirm import

Bulk Edit

Edit multiple units at once:

  1. Select units using checkboxes
  2. Click Bulk Edit
  3. Choose field to update
  4. Enter new value
  5. Apply to selected units

Common bulk edits:

  • Price adjustments
  • Status changes
  • Feature additions

Unit Comparator

Help customers compare units:

Enabling Comparison

The unit comparator allows customers (via AI) to compare:

  • Up to 4 units side-by-side
  • Key specs comparison
  • Price per sqft comparison
  • Feature differences

AI Comparison

When customers ask to compare, the AI:

  1. Identifies relevant units
  2. Highlights key differences
  3. Provides recommendation based on preferences

Reservations

When a Unit is Reserved

  1. Customer expresses interest
  2. You change status to Reserved
  3. Link reservation to contact
  4. Track payment if required

From Reserved to Sold

  1. Complete transaction
  2. Change status to Sold
  3. Update reservation with final details

AI Agent and Units

How AI Uses Unit Data

Your AI agent can:

  • List available units matching criteria
  • Provide specific unit details
  • Compare units for customers
  • Check availability in real-time
  • Quote accurate pricing

Optimizing for AI

  1. Complete all fields - Especially beds, baths, size, price
  2. Use consistent naming - "2BR" not "Two Bedroom" and "2 Bed"
  3. Add floor plans - Visual references improve responses
  4. Keep status current - AI reflects actual availability

Deleting Units

To delete a unit:

  1. Open the unit
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm deletion

  • All unit information
  • Associated media
  • Reservation history

Best Practices

Do's

Don'ts

  • ❌ Leave sold units as "Available"
  • ❌ Use inconsistent unit naming
  • ❌ Forget to update prices
  • ❌ Skip important features
